Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House are available for use by organizations which promote community service and lifelong learning. Through  the generosity and vision of Katherine Deere Butterworth, over 1,400 meetings and activities are hosted in our unique historic settings each year.
Please note, we cannot accommodate political activity of any kind.

Butterworth Center & Deere-Wiman House
Services and venues offered by the Butterworth Foundation are free to qualified not-for-profit groups and educational entities.

Butterworth Center – 1105-8th Street
 — Built in 1892, Butterworth Center offers an elegant setting adapted for a variety of functions
 — The main floor is ideal for programs and performances: the library offers theater-style seating for 60 and a Steinway grand piano available for recitals, and the dining room seats 38 with additional seating possible for up to 58
 — The second and ground floors offer smaller meeting rooms for groups of 4-25.
 — All floors provide a kitchen and amenities for preparing and serving refreshments
 — Groups may request projectors, screens, TV/DVD players, and whiteboards in advance
 — Wi-Fi available in all public areas

To make a reservation:
Butterworth Education Center – 701-12th Avenue
 — The Butterworth Education Center is a spacious venue for larger groups or activities
 — The meeting room accommodates 40 in a classroom setting, or up to 80 at banquet tables
 — The small adjacent auditorium has built in audio/visual equipment and seats up to 30
 — Modern kitchen and fully accessible restrooms in reception area
 — Groups may request a projector, screen, TV/DVD player, and whiteboards in advance
 — Wi-Fi available in all public areas

 Deere-Wiman House – 817-11th Avenue
 — Built in 1872, the historic Deere-Wiman House is available for smaller functions
 — The living room offers theater-style seating for 40 and a Steinway grand piano for recitals
 — The dining room seats up to 36 with an adjacent kitchen for preparing refreshments
 — Groups may request a projector, screen, TV/DVD player, and whiteboards in advance
 — Wi-Fi available in all public areas

Deere-Wiman Carriage House – 817-11th Avenue, Moline, Illinois  61265
 — The Carriage House is a spacious air-conditioned room which seats 36 in a classroom setting, or up to 72 at banquet tables
 — Groups may request a projector, screen, TV/DVD player, and whiteboards in advance
 — Wi-Fi available in all public areas
