Lower level

The basement level of the home has gone through changes just as the upper floors have. Each time the Butterworths added to the house, the basement level would also be dug out adding plenty of space for the staff to work and storage for the home. Enjoy your tour through the lower level rooms. Experiencing the 1917 and 1925 changes to the level.

Experience how guests arrived under the library through the porte couchere and

continued up the stairs to the first floor after their coats were hung in the coat room. Then view the Oak Room used      by the Butterworth’s for more casual entertainment. Finally get a peak into     the staff side of the basement and a look  down the tunnel connecting the house      to the garage.
